IV Therapy class

Course Description:
AVRC will provide participants with training and certification in IV start and management.  The course will provide information on management and care of the IV site, fluid and electrolyte balance, universal precautions, anatomy and physiology and the legal aspects of IV therapy. Participants must be able to complete three successful IV start per state requirements.  This four day course meets the California State requirements for IV therapy for LVNs and is approved by the California Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians and is a 4 day course.
