Director of Staff Development Certification

 

AV Resources Corporation offers a virtual DSD - Director of Staff Development certification training course. Our DSD training meets DSD certification California requirements as it is approved by the board of Registered Nursing. LVNS and RNs take this course. Students will spend 24 hours in online class, reading course assignments, and completing exercises. At the conclusion of this course, the participant will be able to:Describe the role and responsibilities of the Director of Staff Development, Develop and administer various types of learning needs assessment tools, Formulate lesson plans and learning experiences based on objectives., Identify and use various teaching strategies for adult learners, Construct measures for written and clinical evaluation, Identify State and Federal regulations regarding Staff Development.Your instructor: Maria (Anne) Bongo BSN RN MSHI.

"Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number 16985, for 24 contact hours. You have to be present for the 3 day classes to receive the certification and CEUs."
